While I am very proud of every cake I make, there are some that hold a special place in my heart. In this gallery you’ll see a few such cakes.

Pink Blossom Wedding Cake – based on a design by Wild Sugar Rose
Rich chocolate cake with chocolate ganache, fresh raspberry cake with white chocolate ganache and vanilla madeira cake with strawberry milkshake buttercream. Sugarpaste with blossoms in shades of pink and lace ribbon detail.
It not only tasted delicious but looked so pretty - it felt a shame to cut it! Rachel's raspberry and white chocolate is the best cake I have ever tasted!!
Animal print cake for a fabulous 60th Birthday celebration!
Rich chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and sugarpaste. Hand-painted leopard print and hand-cut zebra print design.
Ballet style shoe and gift tag handmade from sugar flower paste with edible gold lustre spray and hand painted details.
My street party design to celebrate Prince William and Catherine Middleton’s Wedding – raffled to raise money for charity.
Rich Fruit Cake with marzipan and sugarpaste. The table is madeira cake with sugarpaste and all food is handmade from sugar modelling paste.

One of my favourites – my younger son’s 1st Birthday cake. A Debbie Brown design – I knew as soon as I saw this I had to make it!
Vanilla madeira cake with vanilla buttercream and sugarpaste. All models are made from sugar modelling paste. The cake and the models are all handpainted.
This was the first cake I made which featured a ladybird.

Pretty birthday cake in pastel tones with handmade sugar roses, bow and hand-cut letters.
The three tiers are lemon cake with lemon curd and lemon buttercream, orange cake with orange buttercream and lime cake with coconut buttercream.
I loved working with the customer to create this design.
Diamanté Wedding Cake in ivory with quilting effect, sugar pearls, piped royal icing and diamanté ribbon and letter topper. Rich fruit cake, vanilla madeira and rich chocolate. All finished with ivory sugarpaste.
Tiny edible buttons on the back to represent things the bride and groom love – Yorkshire rose, treble clef and FC Schalke 04!

3 tier rich fruit cake with marzipan and sugarpaste with bow and streamers made from sugar modelling paste. Edible lustre dust was used to create a shimmer on the bow and stars. I was given a free hand in the design of this cake – just a colour scheme.
This cake could be made with a sponge cake and with more or fewer tiers depending on the number of portions required. Any colour scheme may be chosen or the cake may be adapted for a wedding. A single tier with a bow would make a beautiful cake for a smaller party.
Thomas the Tank Engine Birthday Cake
2nd Birthday cake – 2 tier chocolate madeira cake with chocolate ganache filling and sugarpaste.
All decoration is handmade and edible – Thomas is sugar modelling paste, clouds are sugar modelling paste with royal icing detail, all other decoration is sugarpaste.
